Roots to Launch Initiative

​We are a group of Lake Oswego parents united by a shared vision: creating meaningful employment opportunities in Lake Oswego for young adults with disabilities after they leave the school system. Our sons, daughters, and former students have grown up here, built friendships here, and are part of the fabric of this community. Yet too often, they must leave their hometown to find work that matches not only their interests, talents, and aspirations but also provides the support to match their capabilities. We are committed to changing that by helping create opportunities to live and work in Lake Oswego, pursuing careers that bring purpose, fulfillment, and a true sense of belonging.
